Q: If you could open for anyone in the music business who would it be?
A: Keith Urban - he’s my favorite male performer - or Faith Hill.

Q: Do you watch American Idol or Nashville Star?
A: American Idol. I love Simon!!!

Q: Do you think the judges are doing a good job?
A: Yes, they are all truthful.

Q: Would you ever consider being on either show? Why or why not?
A: I would like to be on American Idol - but it would be very hard.

Q: What are you watching?
A: American Idol, plus anything funny, reality shows - I really love Survivor. My favorite is Newlyweds with Nick Lachey & Jessica Simpson. I am addicted to that show!

Q: Who are you listeing to?
A: Jessica Simpson, Clay Aiken, Good Charlotte, I love Josh Groban and Jesse McCartney, too.

Q: If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would it be?
A: Leann Rimes - she is amazing and has accomplished so much. (Her husband is hot, too!)

Q: Where are your favorite places to perform? Why?
A: The Indiana State Fair is lots of fun and a lot of people; Thorntown is awesome and I have sung there for years; I liked Lafayette. I hope to go back. I first performed at the Morgan County Fair in Martinsville when I was 8.5 so it has special meaning to me. Winchester was great last year. The guys are awesome there & hilarious.

Q: What do you enjoy spending money on most??
A: Clothes, purses and shoes; CDs and DVDs.

Q: What is your ultimate goal in life?
A: To get a major label, sing at the Grand Ole Opry and to win a CMA Award.

Q: You have your own independent studio label?
A: My grandfather, Paul Youkey (Thorntown) recorded my last four albums. He’s done a lot for me and really worked hard with it. (NOTE: The SP in SPirit is for Shonda Sue and Paul.)

Q: What are you thankful for?
A: My mom and dad have always been supportive and have sacrificed a lot. It was my idea to choose a career in singing and they have supported me all the way. My grandparents. I am thankful to everyone who comes to my shows, my friends. Most of all am very thankful to God who blessed me with the gift for singing and sharing His message through song.
